Hublot builds its identity on what it calls the Art of Fusion: combining unexpected materials. The same Big Bang may be made in titanium, steel, ceramic, carbon, sapphire, King Gold, Hublot's own red gold alloy, or Magic Gold, its scratch-resistant gold. Demand varies considerably between them, which is why the first thing we ask when you sell Hublot watches is the exact material, ideally confirmed by the warranty card.
Case condition and the bezel screws
We look closely at the bezel and its H-shaped screws, because damaged or replaced screws are one of the first things a buyer notices. Ceramic cases resist scratches well but can chip if knocked, and edges on sapphire cases should be checked for damage. Metal cases can be refinished, but heavy polishing softens the sharp lines of a Big Bang, so if you plan to sell Hublot pieces soon, leave them as they are.
