Which Contact Option Should You Use?

Each route has its strengths, and you are welcome to switch between them. Many people send photos on WhatsApp first and then call to book a time, or fill in the form and follow up by phone. Use whichever feels most comfortable; the important thing is that we understand what you are looking for.

Phone: 0330 043 7777

A phone call is the quickest way to book or change an appointment, check whether a listed watch is still available, or ask a question that is easier to explain out loud. Calls are answered during opening hours: Monday to Friday from 10:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday from 12:00pm to 4:30pm. We are closed on Sunday.

WhatsApp: +44 (0)7888 888835

WhatsApp works well when pictures matter. If you are thinking about selling or part exchanging, send clear photos of your watch and its box and papers for a quick initial valuation, which is free and comes with no obligation. It is also a convenient way to ask about a listing, share a reference you are hunting for, or confirm an appointment you have already made.

The contact form on this page

The contact form asks for your name, email address and phone number, how you heard about us, and any additional information. That last box is the useful one. Tell us what you would like to do, mention the watch or reference involved and, if you would like an appointment, suggest a few days and times that suit you. The more detail you give, the more useful our first reply can be.

Booking an Appointment at the Showroom

All viewings are by appointment. This keeps each visit private and uninterrupted, which matters when you are trying on watches, discussing a sale or handing over something valuable. Appointments are available for viewing and buying, for selling or part exchanging, for sourcing a specific watch and for general consultations, so there is no need to have your mind made up before you contact us.

When you get in touch to book, it helps if you can tell us:

  • the reason for your visit: buying, selling, part exchange, sourcing or general advice;
  • any watches from the website you would like to see, ideally with the reference number;
  • whether you are bringing a watch of your own to be valued;
  • a couple of days and times that work for you within our opening hours;
  • the best number or email for confirming the details.

With that information we can confirm a time and make sure the right watches are ready to look at when you arrive. If your plans change, simply contact us again to move the appointment.

What Happens After You Contact Us

Once we have your message, we will come back to you to confirm the details, whether that is a time for your appointment, an initial view on a watch you want to sell, or what we can find for a sourcing request. If anything about the watch you are asking about needs clarifying, such as its condition or whether it has its box and papers, that is the point to ask.

At the appointment itself, you will have the room and our attention to yourself. If you are buying, you can handle the watches you asked to see, try them on and compare sizes and bracelets on the wrist. If you are selling, we will examine and authenticate your watch in person and then discuss our offer with you. Nothing is agreed until you are happy, and a valuation never commits you to selling.

Preparing for Your Visit

A little preparation makes the appointment more useful. If you are buying, think about how you will wear the watch day to day, which case sizes you have liked in the past, and whether box and papers matter to you. Wearing the watch you have now is a good idea too, because it gives you an easy comparison for size and weight.

If you are selling or part exchanging, gather everything that came with the watch before you set off, and bring any receipts or service paperwork you can find. If you are not sure what counts as papers for your brand, our guide to box and papers explains what to look for. And if you are running late or need to rearrange, contact us by phone or WhatsApp so we can adjust the time.

Our Address and How to Find Us

Kings & Queens Watches showroom interior at 9 St. Cross Street, where you can visit by appointment after you contact us
The showroom at 9 St. Cross Street, Hatton Garden

You will find us at 9 St. Cross Street, Hatton Garden, London EC1N 8UB. Hatton Garden has been London's jewellery quarter for well over a century and is the centre of the UK diamond trade, so the surrounding streets are lined with jewellers, setters and workshops. It sits on the edge of the City, between Holborn and Clerkenwell.

Two Underground stations are a short walk away. Farringdon, served by the Elizabeth line, Thameslink and the Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines, lies to the north-east: from there, cross Farringdon Road and head into the Hatton Garden streets. Chancery Lane, on the Central line, lies to the south-west: walk east along Holborn towards Holborn Circus and head north into Hatton Garden. Entering EC1N 8UB in a map app will bring you to the door, and if you get turned around, call us.

Our page on the Hatton Garden watch shop says more about the area and what a visit involves.

Contact Us About Selling or Part Exchanging a Watch

We buy watches directly for our own stock, rather than acting as a broker or taking pieces on consignment. Valuations are free and there is no obligation to sell. The easiest first contact is a few photos on WhatsApp: the dial, the case back, the clasp and the box and papers if you have them. From those we can give you a quick initial valuation and talk about next steps.

If you then come in to see us, please bring:

  • the watch itself;
  • its original box;
  • its papers, such as the warranty card or certificate;
  • any spare links that came with the bracelet;
  • any service paperwork you have kept.

A complete set is valued higher, so it is worth searching the drawer for the box and links before your appointment. If a trip to London isn't practical, the watch can be sent to us fully insured instead. Once a price is agreed and the watch has been authenticated in person, payment is made by secure bank transfer, with no hidden fees or commission. The agreed price is what you receive. For more detail, see our pages on selling your watch and part exchange, where your watch is offset against the one you are buying and, if yours is worth more, we pay you the difference.

If you have seen something on the shop and want to know more, contact us with the watch's name or reference. Unless a listing says otherwise, every watch is physically held in stock and can be inspected before dispatch, so you can ask to see it in person. Every listing states whether the watch comes with its box and papers.

If you need time to decide, a £100 deposit holds a watch for 3 working days. That deposit isn't refundable, although you can ask for it to be turned into store credit towards a different watch. If the watch you want isn't listed at all, contact us with the reference and your preferences, because we source specific watches for clients on request. It helps to say which dial, metal and years you would consider, and whether box and papers are essential.

When you order, please be aware that for fraud prevention we may contact you for identity or payment verification before dispatch, and that we ship only to verified addresses. Orders are prepared within 2 to 3 working days of payment clearing and UK delivery is free, fully insured and signed for. Our delivery page has the full details.

Servicing and Repair Enquiries

Servicing, repairs and restoration are handled by Alpha Group, our sister business in the same building. If your watch is running fast or slow, has stopped, or needs some care after years of wear, mention it when you contact us and we will put you in touch with Alpha Group. You can read about the work Alpha Group does on our service and repairs page. Because the workshop is in the same building, it is easy to combine a service conversation with a viewing or a valuation in one trip.

Contact Page FAQs

Can I visit the showroom without an appointment?

All viewings are by appointment, so please contact us before you come. It keeps your visit private and lets us prepare the watches you want to see.

What is the quickest way to get a valuation?

Send photos of the watch, and of its box and papers if you have them, over WhatsApp to +44 (0)7888 888835. We can give a quick initial valuation from photos. It is free and there is no obligation to sell.

Are you open on Sundays?

No. We are open Monday to Friday from 10:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday from 12:00pm to 4:30pm, and closed on Sunday. You can still send a WhatsApp message or fill in the form at any time.

Which stations are closest?

Farringdon and Chancery Lane are both a short walk from 9 St. Cross Street. Farringdon is the better choice if you are travelling on the Elizabeth line or Thameslink.

Do I need box and papers to sell my watch?

No, but bring them if you have them, along with any spare links. A complete set is valued higher than a watch on its own.

Can I send my watch instead of coming in?

Yes. Contact us first so we can discuss the watch, then you can send it to us fully insured. Payment follows by bank transfer once the price is agreed and the watch is authenticated.

Can I contact you from outside the UK?

Yes. WhatsApp is often the simplest option from abroad, and we offer international shipping on most orders. Tell us where you are based and which watch you are interested in, and we will explain the options.

Can I book an appointment just for advice?

Yes. Appointments are not only for buying and selling. You can book a general consultation to talk through a watch you are considering, a piece you already own, or a sourcing idea.

Where can I find answers about delivery and returns?

Our FAQ page covers delivery, returns, warranty and security checks in detail. In short, UK delivery is free and insured, and you have 14 days to return a watch for a full refund.

Whatever your question, we are happy to help. Contact us by phone, WhatsApp or the form on this page, and we will take it from there.
