Planning to sell Rolex Sky-Dweller watches, or just curious about what yours would fetch? The Sky-Dweller is one of the more complicated watches Rolex makes, and it pays to sell it to someone who understands it. We buy every generation, from the Rolesor 326934 and 326933 to the newer 336934 and 336933, as well as the solid gold models such as the 326935 and 326235 in Everose and the 326238 in yellow gold.
Because we buy outright for our own stock, there is no commission to pay and no listing period to sit through. Insured postage or collection is paid for by us, the valuation is free, and once a price is agreed and the watch is authenticated, the money is with you by secure bank transfer within 24 hours.
How to sell Rolex Sky-Dweller watches to Kings & Queens
- Tell us what you have. Share the reference, the dial colour, the year of purchase and whether the box and papers are still with the watch. Photographs sent over WhatsApp let us come back with a quick initial figure, but you can start without them.
- Get a considered offer. We look at what your exact Sky-Dweller, in its metal, dial and bracelet, is achieving on the pre-owned market today, and we explain the figure rather than quoting from a chart.
- Bring it in or send it at our cost. See us privately at our Hatton Garden showroom by appointment, or we will arrange fully insured postage or collection free of charge.
- Paid within 24 hours. After the watch is checked and authenticated in person and you accept the offer, payment is made by secure bank transfer within 24 hours.

What affects what your Sky-Dweller is worth
A handful of points decide the figure when you sell Rolex Sky-Dweller models. Some are obvious from a single photograph; others only show once the watch is in our hands and the functions have been run through.
Metal. The Sky-Dweller has been made in Oystersteel with a white gold bezel, in yellow Rolesor, and in solid yellow, white and Everose gold. Each sits at its own level, and the gold models are a different conversation from the Rolesor ones.
Generation. The 3269xx references use calibre 9001. The 3369xx references introduced in 2023 use calibre 9002. Both are bought readily, but the market treats them as distinct, so we price them separately.
Dial colour. Blue, black, white, green and chocolate dials each have their own following, and a dial that is in favour can make a visible difference. We look at current demand rather than an old price list.
Bracelet or strap. The Oyster and Jubilee bracelets, the Oysterflex and the earlier leather straps each suit a different buyer. A bracelet is judged on its stretch and clasp; a strap is judged on its condition and whether the original buckle is present.
Completeness. The warranty card, both boxes and the spare links all add to the offer. On a watch this complex, a recent Rolex service record is also reassuring for the next owner.
Function. The annual calendar, the second time zone and the Ring Command bezel must all work correctly. If anything is sticking or skipping, tell us; our sister business Alpha Group, in the same building, handles servicing and repairs, so we can price any work accurately.
Which Sky-Dweller do you have?
To sell Rolex Sky-Dweller watches quickly, it helps to know the reference. You will find it on the warranty card or certificate, and on recent models it is engraved on the case between the lugs at 12 o'clock. There is no need to remove the bracelet; the card or a photograph of the paperwork is enough for us.
| Reference | Metal | What sets it apart |
|---|---|---|
| 326934 | Oystersteel and white gold | White Rolesor with a fluted white gold bezel and calibre 9001; blue, black and white dials |
| 326933 | Oystersteel and yellow gold | Yellow Rolesor, with gold centre links on the bracelet |
| 336934 and 336933 | White and yellow Rolesor | The current generation, introduced in 2023 with calibre 9002 |
| 326935 | Everose gold | Solid Everose on the Oyster bracelet, often with a chocolate dial |
| 326235 | Everose gold | Solid Everose on the Oysterflex bracelet |
| 326238 and 326938 | Yellow gold | Solid yellow gold Sky-Dwellers |
| 326939 | White gold | Solid white gold on the Oyster bracelet |
Rolex explains the Sky-Dweller's functions and shows the current line-up on rolex.com, which is a useful place to compare your watch with today's models. If you are not sure whether your watch is a 9001 or 9002 model, or whether the bezel is white gold, send us clear photos and we will identify it before you sell Rolex Sky-Dweller pieces of any generation.
Why the Sky-Dweller is different to sell
Rolex launched the Sky-Dweller in 2012, and it remains one of the brand's most technically involved watches. It shows a second time zone on an off-centre 24-hour disc, while the hour hand jumps to local time. Its annual calendar, which Rolex calls Saros, shows the month in one of twelve small windows around the edge of the dial and only needs correcting once a year, at the end of February.
All of this is set using the Ring Command bezel. Turning the bezel selects the date, local time or reference time, and the crown then adjusts the chosen function. It is an elegant system, but it means that when you sell Rolex Sky-Dweller models, we check more than the timekeeping: we turn the bezel through each position, change the date and time zone, and make sure every function engages cleanly.
The first models were made only in solid gold. Rolesor versions followed in 2017 with the 326934 and 326933, which brought the watch to a far wider audience. In 2023 the 336 series arrived with calibre 9002, so there are now two clear generations on the pre-owned market.
Oyster, Jubilee or Oysterflex?
The bracelet or strap your watch wears is part of its identity when you sell Rolex Sky-Dweller models. The Oyster bracelet, with its broad, flat three-piece links, gives the watch a sporting character. The Jubilee, with its finer five-piece links, makes the same watch feel dressier. The Oysterflex, used on some of the solid gold references, has flexible metal blades inside a black elastomer coating, so it wears like rubber but keeps its shape on the wrist.
Whichever you have, keep everything that came with the watch. If the bracelet or strap has been changed since purchase, tell us, and bring the original parts if you still have them. A watch returned to its factory specification is always the easiest to value.
Condition: what to look at before you sell Rolex Sky-Dweller watches
At 42mm, the Sky-Dweller case has broad, flat surfaces that show polishing very clearly. Heavy refinishing softens the edges of the lugs and case sides, and the metal cannot be replaced, so please leave the case as it is. Ordinary wear costs far less than a case that has lost its shape.
The fluted bezel is part of the mechanism as well as the design. Knocks to the ridges are visible, and a bezel that has taken a heavy blow may not rotate smoothly between its positions. Give it a gentle turn: it should move with a clear, positive action.
On the dial, look at the twelve month windows and the 24-hour disc. Both should be clean and aligned. Marks on the dial, replaced hands or a cloudy crystal are all worth mentioning when you first contact us to sell Rolex Sky-Dweller watches, because an accurate description at the start means a firmer figure later.
Bracelet stretch matters as much here as on any Rolex. Years of wear open up the links until the bracelet sags on the wrist. We check the play between the links and how firmly the clasp closes, and allow for it openly.
Box, papers and original parts
A Sky-Dweller with its full set is the version most buyers look for. Anything that came with the watch is worth digging out, along with the original receipt and any service invoices, because they confirm its history and make our checks faster. Owners who sell Rolex Sky-Dweller watches with every item present usually find the price conversation short and straightforward.
- The warranty card or certificate showing the serial number and purchase date
- Inner and outer Rolex boxes, booklets and any swing tags
- Every spare link removed when the bracelet was sized
- The original strap or buckle, if the watch has been moved to a bracelet or rubber
- Rolex service papers, with any original parts returned after a service
Missing paperwork won't stop you if you want to sell Rolex Sky-Dweller watches. A Sky-Dweller without its box and papers is still very saleable, and we will tell you plainly what each missing item does to the offer. Our guide to box and papers explains why these items carry weight.
Before you sell Rolex Sky-Dweller watches: how to prepare
A little preparation gives us a clearer picture and you a firmer first figure.
- Leave the case, bezel and bracelet unpolished and exactly as they are.
- Wipe the watch with a soft, dry cloth; avoid cleaning products.
- Photograph the dial, bezel, clasp, caseback area and warranty card in daylight.
- Check that the date, month and second time zone are all showing correctly.
- Collect the boxes, papers, spare links and service records together.
- Note the reference, the year of purchase and the date of the last service.

During the appointment we inspect the watch with you, record the serial number, case markings and movement details, and run through the calendar and time zone functions in front of you. Sell Rolex Sky-Dweller watches from outside London
Distance is no obstacle. We pay for fully insured postage or collection, and before anything is sent we explain how to pack the watch so that it arrives safely. Many people who sell Rolex Sky-Dweller pieces from elsewhere in the UK begin with a few photographs on WhatsApp, so that the figure is clear before the watch leaves home. Once it has arrived and been authenticated, we confirm the offer and pay you by secure bank transfer within 24 hours.
Sell Rolex Sky-Dweller watches privately or to a dealer?
Selling privately is an option, but a Sky-Dweller is a high-value watch, and a private sale means answering messages from strangers, arranging viewings with people you don't know, and carrying the risk of payment fraud. A buyer who has never handled the Ring Command bezel may also need it explained, and may doubt the watch when it does something they don't expect.
When you sell Rolex Sky-Dweller watches to us, the process is a single appointment or an insured delivery, a full in-person check and a bank transfer within 24 hours. A private buyer may offer more, or may not, and finding out can take weeks. Weigh the figure, the time and the risk together.
Part exchange your Sky-Dweller
Not everyone who wants to sell Rolex Sky-Dweller models is looking for cash. With a part exchange, the value of your Sky-Dweller is offset against the watch you are buying from us in one transaction, and if your watch is worth more than the one you choose, we pay you the difference. Browse our pre-owned Rolex Sky-Dweller collection, or read how part exchange works.
Why sell Rolex Sky-Dweller watches to us
We buy for our own stock rather than brokering, so the price we agree is what you receive. There is no commission, no hidden fee and no waiting for a buyer. As an independent specialist, we price a Sky-Dweller on its reference, calibre, metal, dial, condition and completeness, and we tell you which of those points shaped the figure. If you have other Rolex watches to sell, our main sell your Rolex page covers the wider range.

Common questions
Can I sell Rolex Sky-Dweller watches without the box and papers?
Yes. The full set helps, yet a Sky-Dweller on its own still finds buyers easily. Our in-person checks confirm what the paperwork would have told us, and we explain how its absence is reflected before making you a firm offer.
Is a 9002 Sky-Dweller worth more than a 9001?
They are priced separately because the market treats the two generations as different watches. Dial, metal, condition and completeness often matter as much as the calibre, so we look at the whole watch rather than the movement alone.
Do you buy the solid gold Sky-Dwellers?
We do. If you want to sell Rolex Sky-Dweller models in solid gold, we buy Everose references such as the 326935 and 326235 and yellow gold models such as the 326238. Solid gold watches are valued on their own terms, quite apart from the Rolesor models.
My calendar or time zone isn't working properly. Will you still buy it?
Yes. Tell us what you have noticed and we will check it at the appointment. Our sister business Alpha Group handles servicing and repairs in the same building, so we can account for the work in the offer and explain exactly how.
How quickly can I sell Rolex Sky-Dweller watches to you?
As quickly as suits you. Send photos for an initial figure, then book an appointment or arrange insured postage. Once the watch has been checked in person and the offer accepted, payment reaches you by secure bank transfer within 24 hours.
Do I need to have the watch serviced before I sell it?
No. We buy watches that are due a service and allow for the work openly in the offer. A recent service is welcome, but it is only one factor among many, so there is no need to arrange one before you sell Rolex Sky-Dweller watches to us.
How am I paid when I sell Rolex Sky-Dweller watches to you?
We pay by secure bank transfer within 24 hours, once the watch has been authenticated in person and you have accepted our offer. Because we are buying for our own stock, there is no commission and no deduction of any kind.
