Richard Mille prices in the UK, honestly explained.

Watch guide · Prices · 15 min read · Updated October 2026 · Kings & Queens Watches, Hatton Garden

There is no Richard Mille price list. Our UK guide explains how new watches are sold, what sets resale prices, the cheapest models and verified auction records.

In short

  • Richard Mille publishes no price list. A new Richard Mille price is quoted by a boutique, and richardmille.com shows none.
  • Most figures online are dealer asking prices, often in US dollars before sales tax. UK prices include 20% VAT.
  • Pre-owned, the Richard Mille price is set by reference, material, edition, year, full set, service history and condition.
  • The cheapest way in is usually an older, non-limited automatic. Tourbillons, sapphire cases and limited editions sit at the top.
  • The highest auction result we could verify is HK$35,540,000, for an RM 53-02 at Sotheby's Hong Kong on 7 October 2023.

Search for a Richard Mille price and you will mostly find dealer asking prices, often in US dollars and rarely dated. Those figures are what sellers hope to get, not what watches sell for, and none of them is a list price, because Richard Mille does not publish one. This guide explains how pricing really works in the UK: how new watches are sold, what sets the price of a pre-owned one, where the market starts, and the auction results we could verify.

We buy and sell Richard Mille ourselves, so we have an interest. We have kept to figures you can check, each with its source and date, and where no reliable number exists, we say so rather than guess.

Is there a Richard Mille price list?

No. Richard Mille does not publish prices. When we checked the brand's website, richardmille.com, on 26 October 2026, neither its collection pages nor its model pages showed a price, and there is no UK price list from the brand. A new Richard Mille price is given by a boutique, to a client, for a specific watch.

That matters, because much of what is written about the brand quotes a "retail price" as if it were official. Some of those figures are launch prices reported by the press, usually in Swiss francs or dollars. Others are copied from dealer listings. Neither is a UK list price, so treat any Richard Mille price list with no date and no source with care.

Why this guide quotes no new prices

We quote a UK list price only from the brand's own UK website or a dated source that names it. Richard Mille publishes neither, so we give no new Richard Mille price in pounds. If a boutique quotes you one, that is the figure that counts.

How buying a new Richard Mille works

New watches are sold through the boutiques on Richard Mille's store locator. In the UK it lists one: Richard Mille London, on Old Bond Street in Mayfair (checked 26 October 2026). Appointments can be booked through the brand's website.

The brand makes very few watches by Swiss standards. Morgan Stanley and LuxeConsult estimated that Richard Mille sold about 5,700 watches in 2024, against about 1.18 million for Rolex, as reported by The Edge Malaysia on 31 March 2025. These are analysts' estimates, not company figures, but they show the scale.

Demand for most current models is far higher than that supply, so boutiques decide who is offered a watch. Richard Mille does not publish how it allocates. It is widely reported that existing clients are offered new pieces first, and that the most sought-after models and limited editions rarely reach a first-time buyer.

That is why the secondary market matters so much. For many references the only way to buy without waiting is pre-owned, and there the Richard Mille price is set by supply and demand, not by a list.

Why the Richard Mille price you see online is often wrong

Before you rely on any Richard Mille price you find online, check which of these it is.

  • An asking price, not a selling price. A listing shows what a seller hopes to get. Watches can sit unsold for months, and many sell for less.
  • No public index behind it. WatchCharts, a price tracker often quoted in price answers, publishes indexes for 49 brands but none for Richard Mille, and on 26 October 2026 its Richard Mille page tracked market data for just one model. Most numbers you see are listings, not transactions.
  • Dollars, not pounds. US prices are shown before sales tax, while UK retail prices include 20% VAT, and the exchange rate moves. A dollar Richard Mille price converted on the day is not a sterling price.
  • The wrong watch. One model name can cover titanium, gold and composite cases, limited editions and several generations. A Richard Mille price for one version tells you little about another.
  • No date. A figure from 2022 tells you little about the market in 2026.

Richard Mille price by family: the main models

Richard Mille names its watches "RM" plus a number, and later generations add a suffix: the RM 030 was followed by the RM 30-01, and the RM 035 by the RM 35-01, RM 35-02 and RM 35-03. Generation, material and edition matter more to the Richard Mille price than the family name, but the families are the place to start. Launch years and status are from richardmille.com unless we say otherwise.

RM 011 Felipe Massa

Launched in 2007 and developed with the Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa, the RM 011 is an automatic flyback chronograph with an annual calendar, using the calibre RMAC1. Richard Mille says it was made in titanium, gold and the brand's own materials, including Carbon TPT, Red Quartz TPT, ceramic and silicon nitride, alongside a long line of limited editions. The brand lists it among its historical models, so every RM 011 for sale is pre-owned and many are a decade old or more. Service history and the exact version decide its Richard Mille price. Our Richard Mille RM 011 page explains what to check, and the RM 011 watches we hold are shown below with their current prices.

RM 030 and RM 30-01

The RM 030 arrived in 2011 with Richard Mille's declutchable rotor: once the mainspring is fully wound, the rotor disconnects so it cannot overwind, and an indicator shows whether it is engaged. Its successor, the RM 30-01, uses the calibre RMAR2, whose rotor disengages at about 55 hours of power reserve and re-engages at 40, and adds an oversize date and a function selector. The RM 30-01 is in the current collection, including a titanium version and a Le Mans Classic edition.

Compare like with like. An RM 030 and an RM 30-01 are different generations, not the same watch at different ages, and each has its own Richard Mille price. See our Richard Mille RM 30-01 page for more.

RM 035 and the Rafael Nadal family

The RM 035 of 2011 was a manual-winding watch for Rafael Nadal, with a case in an aluminium, magnesium and copper alloy the brand calls alumagnesium. The RM 35-01 followed in 2014 in Carbon TPT, and the automatic RM 35-02 in 2016, in Carbon TPT or red Quartz TPT. The RM 35-03 is in the current collection. Colours vary by generation, so a Richard Mille price for "an RM 35" means little until you know which one.

RM 055 Bubba Watson

Launched in 2012 for the golfer Bubba Watson, the RM 055 is manual-winding, with an ATZ bezel, a hard material made from aluminium oxide, and a grade 5 titanium case middle and back with a protective white rubber casing. Richard Mille lists it as a historical model. Check the white parts closely: their condition shows at a glance, and it affects the Richard Mille price.

RM 67: the extra-flat automatics

The RM 67-01 Automatic Extra Flat was unveiled at the SIHH fair in Geneva in January 2016. Its calibre CRMA6 is 3.6mm thick, and the case was reported at the time as 7.75mm, slim for the brand. The RM 67-02 is the sporting version: Richard Mille says it weighs 32 grams, calls it its lightest automatic, and makes it in Quartz TPT and Carbon TPT, including versions for athletes it works with. Both are current. The RM 67-01 is one of the simplest, slimmest watches in the range, which is why it comes up whenever people ask for the lowest Richard Mille price.

RM 07-01 and the ladies' models

The RM 07-01 is the automatic at the centre of Richard Mille's ladies' collection, with the calibre CRMA2. The brand makes it in gold, Carbon TPT, Gold Carbon TPT, white ATZ ceramic and black TZP ceramic, with gem-set and coloured versions. The RM 037 is the other automatic in the current ladies' range. Gem-setting moves the Richard Mille price more here than anywhere else: a fully set gold watch and a plain ceramic one are very different propositions.

The tourbillons

Richard Mille began with tourbillons; the RM 001 and RM 002 date from 2001. Tourbillons still sit at the top of the range, from the Rafael Nadal RM 27 series to sapphire-cased pieces such as the RM 56. They are made in small numbers, often as limited editions, and every result in our auction table below is a tourbillon. For these watches there is no typical Richard Mille price; each sale depends on the exact piece.

What sets a Richard Mille price on the secondary market

Pre-owned, eight things decide the Richard Mille price of a particular watch. They explain why two watches with the same model name can be far apart.

  • Reference and generation. An RM 030 is not an RM 30-01, and an RM 011 is not an RM 11-03. Start with the full reference.
  • Material. Titanium, red or white gold, Carbon TPT, Quartz TPT, ceramics and sapphire each change the figure.
  • Limited and partner editions. Numbered editions and watches linked to Richard Mille's partners, such as its athletes or the Le Mans Classic, often sell for more than standard versions. The edition and case numbers should match the papers.
  • Year. A recent example of a current model and an early example of a discontinued one can attract very different buyers.
  • Full set. The box, warranty card and papers, any extra straps and the tools supplied with the watch. A full set links the case number to the watch and helps it hold its value. See box and papers explained.
  • Service history. Paperwork from Richard Mille or a qualified watchmaker shows when the watch was serviced and what was done. On older watches it matters a great deal.
  • Condition and originality. Marks on Carbon TPT, Quartz TPT and ceramic cannot simply be polished out like a scratch on gold. Aftermarket diamonds, coatings and non-original parts usually lower the price.
  • Demand. What buyers want now for that exact reference, material and edition. It moves, and it differs widely between models.

The cheapest way into Richard Mille

Without a list, there is no official cheapest Richard Mille. What we can say is where the Richard Mille price on the secondary market usually starts, and why.

  • Older, non-limited automatics. The RM 005 (2004), RM 010 (2006), the rectangular RM 016 Extra Flat (2007), the RM 029 and RM 030 (both 2011), and the round RM 033 Extra Flat (2011). Their movements are simpler than the chronographs and tourbillons, and they were made in larger numbers than the limited pieces.
  • The RM 67-01 Extra Flat. A slimmer, simpler current model, launched in 2016.
  • Ladies' automatics without gem-setting. An RM 07-01 or RM 037 in ceramic or Carbon TPT, rather than a fully set gold version.

What pushes a Richard Mille price up is the reverse: tourbillons, chronographs, limited and partner editions, sapphire cases and gem-setting.

There is a trade-off. The cheapest watches are also the oldest, so a service may be due soon, and a Richard Mille service is not a small cost. Ask for the service history, check the case number against the papers, and budget for a service if there is no recent paperwork. We put no figure on these models, because asking prices are not a reliable guide and there is no dated public index for the brand. For a live Richard Mille price, see our Richard Mille collection.

The most expensive Richard Mille watches sold at auction

Auction results are the one place a Richard Mille price is fully public. These are the highest we could verify with the auction house, sale, lot, date and price, in the currency of the sale and including the buyer's premium. We have not converted them, because the exchange rate on the day of a sale is not today's rate.

Sources: Sotheby's, The 5 Most Expensive Richard Mille Watches Sold at Auction, 13 October 2026, for the Sotheby's prices, with lots and dates from its lot pages; and Christie's, lot 2096, checked 26 October 2026. Sotheby's gives all but the RM 53-02 rounded, as shown.

Three of the six have sapphire cases. Sotheby's says the RM 53-02, made in an edition of eight, has a blue sapphire case that took more than 1,000 hours of machining and finishing. The others are limited editions or, in the case of the RM 27-01, a prototype. At the top of the market, the Richard Mille price follows rarity and materials, not the family name.

You may see a one-off RM 52-01 "Vanitas" sold in Monaco described as the record. Published reports of that sale disagree on the price, the currency and even the year, so it is not in our table. And because Richard Mille publishes no prices for new watches, there is no brand-confirmed figure for its most expensive new watch.

The Richard Mille market in 2026

There is no public, dated index of the Richard Mille price, so nobody can show with data how the brand as a whole has moved. What is published describes the wider pre-owned market it sits in.

  • The wider market has risen over the year. The WatchCharts Overall Market Index, which tracks 300 watches from the top 10 luxury brands by transaction value, was up 8.0% over one year when last updated on 25 October 2026.
  • Five quarters of gains. Morgan Stanley's report for the third quarter of 2026, based on WatchCharts data, found secondary prices up 1.2% on the quarter, the fifth quarter in a row above 1%, and 8.3% on the year, with 28 of the 35 brands tracked rising (reported by WatchPro on 15 October 2026).
  • More watches for sale. The same report found listed inventory for the six biggest brands up almost 20% on the year, and Morgan Stanley warned that elevated inventory could limit further price rises.

None of these is a Richard Mille figure, and the coverage we could check does not break the brand out. With no published retail price, there is also no official list to measure a pre-owned premium or discount against, which is how analysts usually judge whether a brand holds its value. Read any confident claim about Richard Mille price trends with that in mind.

Richard Mille's own pre-owned programme

Richard Mille runs its own pre-owned programme, which its website says began in 2015. Watches are sold through approved retailers, serviced and checked by watchmakers trained at the brand's manufacture, and come with a 24-month international warranty, a service booklet and a certificate of authenticity. In the UK, the programme's page lists one retailer: Ninety, at 90 Mount Street in Mayfair (checked 26 October 2026).

The same page says owners can take a watch, with all its original accessories, to a Richard Mille boutique for an evaluation and a buy-back offer that reflects the current market. For a buyer, the appeal is the brand's own service and warranty. For a seller, it is one Richard Mille price check among several, so compare it with other offers, including ours.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a Richard Mille cost in the UK?

There is no published UK Richard Mille price. New, a boutique quotes the price for a specific watch; richardmille.com shows none. Pre-owned, the price depends on the reference, material, edition, year, full set, service history and condition. Our Richard Mille listings show current prices for the watches we hold.

Why doesn't Richard Mille publish its prices?

The brand does not say. It makes very few watches, sells them new through its boutiques and shows no prices on its website, so the only firm new Richard Mille price is the one a boutique quotes you.

What is the cheapest Richard Mille?

There is no official answer, because there is no list. On the secondary market, the lowest Richard Mille price is usually found on older, non-limited automatics such as the RM 005, RM 010, RM 016, RM 029, RM 030 and RM 033, the extra-flat RM 67-01, and ladies' automatics without gem-setting. Older watches may need a service, so check the history.

What is the most expensive Richard Mille sold at auction?

The highest result we could verify is HK$35,540,000, including buyer's premium, for an RM 53-02 Sapphire Tourbillon at Sotheby's Hong Kong on 7 October 2023. Reports of a one-off RM 52-01 sold in Monaco conflict on the figures, so we have left it out.

Is Ninety Richard Mille's official pre-owned retailer?

Ninety, at 90 Mount Street in Mayfair, is the UK retailer listed on Richard Mille's own pre-owned programme page (checked 26 October 2026). The brand says watches sold through the programme come with a 24-month international warranty and a certificate of authenticity.

Why is every Richard Mille price online so different?

Most are asking prices, not selling prices. Many are in dollars, which exclude sales tax, while UK prices include 20% VAT. And one model name can cover several generations, materials and limited editions, each with its own Richard Mille price. Check the reference, the date and the currency before you compare.

Do Richard Mille watches hold their value?

No public index tracks the brand, and there is no published retail price to measure against, so nobody can give a reliable brand-wide figure. Value depends on the exact watch. Our guide to watches as an investment explains what helps a watch hold its value.

Are you an authorised Richard Mille dealer?

No. Kings & Queens Watches is an independent pre-owned dealer. We are not a Richard Mille boutique or retailer, we are not part of its pre-owned programme and we are not affiliated with the brand. We buy, sell and part-exchange Richard Mille, and every watch is inspected and authenticated before it is offered for sale.

Kings & Queens Watches is an independent dealer and is not affiliated with Richard Mille.
